Should I store the old summer tires that I’ve had since the car was new and put them back on only to replace them not very far into next year or should I just junk them now? I don’t technically need the winter tires yet but they’ve got a lot of tread left and it could start snowing any time within the next month or so and I don’t want to be caught unprepared.
Current tire: Dunlop Sport Maxx RT (measured at 5/32 like 3000 miles ago)
Winter tire: Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4
Summer tire I’ll eventually get: Probably the Michelin Pilot 4S

I am waiting at the tire shop now as my winter tires are being put on. My summer tires have like less than 1/32 of tread Lolo lol. So I’m tossing them and just gonna get new wheels and another set of summers next year at some point. I got about 15k miles out of 200tw tires which ain't bad at all.
