We had one in blue with the wood decal. It replaced the ‘73 wagon. If I were in high school again, this is the car I’d be saving for. I’d cut a memory foam mattress to fit the bed in back and add pull down shades on the back windows.

Ha - we had a Caprice wagon in dark red with that same wood decal - same generation as the Olds pictured, but probably a few years older. We sold it before I got my learner’s permit though, so I never got to drive it. It was a cool car and took us on lots of family vacations. Fun times!
