... so I thought I’d reward myself a little.
First attempt at a reverse sear.
Inside turned out great, but crust could use some improvement.
Other defects include the peas were a bit overcooked, poor timing with the steak, and the garlic mashed potato (yes, I only used one) was a bit too creamy.
I’ll take it for now.

Needed a hotter pan for the sear?
I really wish I as better at making steak. Hard to justify the price when it doesn’t turn out.

Yeah that pretty much is the fix.
This piece is actually part of a prime rib I got. Wasn’t that bad.
