the only thing “fun” about the tunnel is that trucks can’t go through it, they have to use the Matty Moron Bridge.

Considering truck traffic is lots of the bridge the tunnel should be “quicker”.

If you’re coming out to Sterling Heights, you could just cross at Sarnia and drive down 94. That’s the route I used when I was running back and forth to Toronto from Sterling Heights.
