The flight attendant on my Aeroflot flight from Moscow to Tyumen spoke English to me, it was hot.

It was one of my better flying experiences.

Jet engines are in my top ten fears after talking to a sergeant who used to be in the Navy and worked on the flight deck.
10/10 would rather get shot by a 7.62 or blow up by a rocket than get sucked into a jet engine. I guess he felt the same since that’s why he switched to the Army lol.

*tries to think of reasons to go to Russia*

Clearly it wasn’t a Tupelov then. Aeroflot has been host to literally all of my worst flying experiences, all due to those fucking 154s.

I guess that counts as water injection since she’s 78% water. The rest just cleans off the turbine blades. Mild abrasive.

It was a 777 over the Atlantic then an Airbus A321 from Moscow to Tyumen..

Yeah, I imagine they’ve updated their fleet since the early 2000s when I was living there. I kept getting stuck on Tupelovs and Ilyushins and it wasn’t really that great. And the food was literally the worst, and I like Russian food (generally).

They must have updated everything, I flew in 2014. Food wasn’t terrible and I was surprised that we got served food on a 3 hour domestic flight.

Eagles may soar, but weasels never get sucked into jet engines.

They also certainly didn’t speak English to me. Just sort of ignored me or just pointed. even though I do speak some Russian.

They did on the plane, and the announcements were in Russian and English, to my surprise. No one really spoke English in Tyumen, but we managed, somehow.

On the one hand, “Hello, nurse flight attendant!”. On the other, I’m stressing about those heels, the intakes, and FOD .
