Are you sure it wasn’t one of Amazon’s delivery contractors? The one who delivers to my house drives a Toyota Sienna.

They’re rollin’ in a Rainier and the jealous wanna get some.
And I just realized there was a video for this. After all these year and I finally get to see what Mix was talking about. 50 series tires? Taco Bell closed? What the hell?
Worth a watch for anyone who likes old hip-hop and/or is from Seattle.

I’m pretty sure that Buick made the Rainier while Mercury had the Mariner and Mountaineer.

I’m not usually home when I get deliveries, but I’ve seen Fedex deliver stuff in a U-haul truck.

According to the UPS driver at work they have been doing some rural deliveries by contracting out to people driving their personal vehicles. I thought it was only to get through the Christmas rush, but possibly they are either still catching up, or maybe they’ve continued it for a longer term. Our local UPS center has been running beyond capacity for a couple years due to the increase in online shopping. Turns out when you live in BFE it can be quicker and cheaper to order from Amazon Prime than drive 30-40 miles to Walmart.

I love ordering giant bags of dog food from Amazon. Then they deliver them right to my door and I don’t have to lug them from my car haha.
