“I still have a year and 3 months before I can import my dream euro.”
Aha, you must be talking about the 1994 Twingo Balarinji Edition.
For real though, you can’t go wrong with the RS2, awesome Porsche-tuned car.

The RS2 Avant is one of the very very few Audis I want

That’s an awesome Audi. One of very, very few Audis I lust after. These RS2s are both very rare and very expensive though. Much more so than the already expensive E30 Touring.

In Canada, we have a 15 year import rule instead of 25 but the only problem is getting insurance for a RHD car. Most companies won’t do it and those that do will do it expensively.
It’s a shame since nice condition JDM cars are affordable - Canadian cars of a similar vintage are going to be rustbuckets or ruined by modders who think they’ve added value.
Are RS2s easily found in Europe?

I’ve found just your car.
It’s an LHD in the U.K.
Audi RS2 Quattro Avant 315bhp, 1994, £27,995 (USD$40,000).
RHD ones are £10,000 more.
