I’d like it more as an actual convertible.
But other than that, yes, I like it a lot as well. I just think if I got a cruiser like this, I’d like to be able to put the top down. As well as not have a faux-convertible look.

Not sure about the color, but I wouldn’t kick it out of my driveway.

While I agree that I’d prefer a convertible, I am OK with landau tops on cars of this era.

I suppose I’ll settle for it, Lincoln Convertible’s seem few and far between in acceptable condition and priced out of this world in good condition.

When I was young, I remember someone on my walk to school had one like this... only it was a deep red with a white roof.

They also didn’t make a convertible Mark III

Apparently - I love the color, as well as the license plate. It just screams ‘early 70's’. We had a refrigerator in that color growing up.

Landau tops are the ones that only cover half of the roof. This would just be considered a vinyl top.

not in ‘70 or ‘71. might not have actually made the claimed 365 hp, but it wasn’t the neutered lump of iron it was post-’73.

.67 hp per cubic inch? Marshmallow suspension? It’s okay but I would want to address those two things. The Suspension and braking would be first. Not so concerned with HP if it’s pre 73. Depends on MPG. ifs it is a dog and gets 8 mpg then I would change the flywheel and heads to the specs of the most powerful engine. Had a 460 dog in the family.
My cousin ported it out to a 60's engine, porting heads, flywheel, advanced timing. It passed Smog in Cali np. Stock appearing on the outside.
