Welcome to the 9th round of Formula Oppo, the fantasy racing game where Thierry Neuville can’t get you points. This week head to the mountains of Australia, where the beer flows like wine. Apologies for the late posting, but well, at least it’s here now.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Lewis started from the front and was having a good, clean race until enough accidents caused safety cars and ultimately a red flag. Vettel behaved like a petulant child and bumped into Lewis’s Mercedes while behind a safety car and earned a 10 second stop and go penalty. Hamilton’s crew forgot to secure his foam padding called him in later in the race to replace it. During this Vettel passed him for 4th. Meanwhile at the front, Daniel Ricciardo finally got to do the grand shoey for 1st, and at the finish line Valtteri Bottas pipped the young Canadian for second. Speaking of Lance Stroll, he goes from first points to first podium in back to back races. Oh and Fernando and McLaren-Honda scored points

This week it’s off to the famous Australian Alps for a proper circuit race at the Pink Elephant Ring or whatever it’s called these days. This week a new Honda engine is coming so watch out for that.
