Because with all that carbon fiber and aluminum, I’d no idea the Aventador weighed in at just about 2 TONS!!!??? I thought it was around 3500-3600lbs max. Geebus, it costs almost 100x what it weighs.

I underestimate the weight of a lot of cars...

Even being all aluminum, a DOHC V12 is a heavy ass motor.

Just as an example, GM’s DOHC V6 is 370lb before fluids. Now multiply that by 2 then add fluids. You’re nearing a thousand pounds of just motor.

This. It also likely has 12+ quarts of oil. Again, carrying around more than twice the weight in oil as typical car.
