My wife can’t stand the word ‘bushings’. She compares it to the word ‘moist’.

I frequently torment her by talking about moist bushings. I’ve only been punched a few times.

In the UK (and ANZ?) they call them bushes. That has to get confusing.

Those would be damp or wet. You’d need to spritz them throughout the day with a spray bottle to maintain the level of moist.

Where I used to work we installed bushings on a bunch of parts. We even had to soak some in warm water. Yes, we had moist bushings...

I hate the word Taupe. I actually hate the idea of that colour, but the name is also part of the thing so it’s on the list.
