Was my first ride. I bought a rusty green 1968 model in 1971 for $400. The left floorpan had a hole you could have dropped a watermelon through. Bought a pop-rivet gun and some aluminum sheet to repair it. Some spray undercoating sealed the job. I ordered cam from JC Whitney for $38 with gaskets and shipping. It got a cheap MG British Racing green repaint, a new top, plugs and one tire. Drove it for two years and sold it for $750. MMMMmmmmm good fun.

There’s a 1970 for sale close to me, price is a bit steep but it looks like it’s in great shape.

Compare it to ebay prices. They have been climbing for 4-5 years.
