Conreros are best, this or a MGB GT Sebring clone were things I was going to do possibly until the Z fell in front of me. The best Opel guy in the US is out in eastern CA towards Yosemite. He has extra bodies etc... I almost did it and put a rover/buick aluminum V8 in it.

Love these cars. A fiend of my Moms neighbor had one that ran and a few in the yard. I had no idea what it was, I thought maybe a Datsun or Toyota, but being the Japanese car fanboy I was I figured there was no way it could be Japanese, If it was I would have heard of it. The owner also had a coupe of S30 z cars too, so that threw me off the sent even more. I figured maybe it was a beatle kit car, or a Saab.

It wasn’t it’ll a few years until after I first saw one that I found out it was a GM product.
