My name is visible but by now who doesn’t know me?

My laptop is slowly dying after 5 years by way of screen failure.

This sucks. because it’s know more feasible to replace the whole thing as well because of outdated tech.

Time to start looking, I’ll take a pic of it’s cover because it’s been sticker bombed.

If it’s a ThinkPad, you’re better off fixing the busted screen and slathering on some fresh thermal paste onto that CPU. It’ll work great for another couple years.

It’s an Asus ROG I think Gen 2 from what I can find online w/o flipping over my laptop and running the model number. I bought it brand new in 2012.

Bad. Really bad. It was a perfect survivor before the hit.

Now, I want to knock on the guys door before taking pics. Before he had the Ranchero there was a 73 Mach 1 that co-workers swear someone was living in in the driveway. I saw the interior one day and someone was living in it for certain. There has to be a story. I’m more interested in the story than the cars at this point.

While horror stories are a thing, I currently own an MSi laptop and they’re pretty sturdy - well, maybe a half notch below ASUS but sturdy nonetheless.
