While pulling my old starter off the other day, my new roommate asked me if I needed help with something as I came into the house to pull out my older-but-maybe-gooder starter from the basement. It wasn’t until much later when I saw all the drying droplets on the kitchen floor that I realized I’d been dribbling blood from a grazed knuckle the whole time.

Except some GM’s. I hear some of there’s run off some kind of synthetic fluid that’s similar to ATF.
