Yeah, I don’t think that’s going to fool anyone. SUV on my street in college had a nice artfully hand-drawn Maryland plate in the rear window, which I think would not arouse suspicion at any reasonable follow distance (might bring up something weird on an LPR though). When their registration “sticker” expired, they just drew up a new plate.
