Filthy bastard

The “L” is on.

It was a pretty simple process. I scraped away all the old glue with a razor blade off the badge, and then used a clear silicone used for interior glazing for application. I didn’t need to measure this or template that, as the dirt ring from the previous badge was visible on the hatch.

However, I’ll have to stare from a distance and not crammed in the back of my small garage. I don’t know if I like it. I feel like it would almost look better black or maybe red? Or, if I keep it chrome, I would need to put the “IS 300" and “LEXUS” badges on to compliment it. Maybe it would look better id the car wasn’t filthy. I’ll have to ponder this for a bit.

Just did it the other day when I was bored and it was a sloppy job but honestly looks good. I really like black pearl too but they’re probably expensive like the Lexus ones.
