Probably, I just don’t know where to get them or what date ranges to look through. When I was in college, I thought my college had an archive, but I never looked through it. I probably should have.

I used to have very good luck finding stuff like this on ebay for $5 or less. Just set up an alert for M5 Magazine Ad or similar. There’s a pretty big market for old magazine ads because it’s very profitable for hoarders :D

I probably could do that. I got that 3 series ad back in 2011 and have been looking since at least then.

1987-88, probably any car magazine. Check ebay, it will be cheap.
That makes me think of a fun poster from back in the day (these can also be found for not a fortune):
