Doug was in San Diego recently testing a BMW Z1, he probably scheduled the trip to sync with someone who had a Tesla 3 who wanted him to review it as well.

The names could have easily been changed to ad a nice detail to the video, but I didn’t get the feeling he wanted to own the car any more than anything else he reviewed.
