the camo stickers usually aren’t taken off because that level vehicle looks like shit underneath and it’s going to be scrapped soon anyway.

it’s an emissions/fuel economy test car. special exhaust tips are welded on so the capture hoses from the gas analyzer get a tight seal and pull in only the exhaust gas w/o any ambient air.

Not all the cars get the camo stripped immediately. Next time it’s convenient, it’ll get pulled. It takes a few hours to remove it all, and there are rarely gaps that long in the test schedule.
