It was a 1 off made as a wedding present from Ferrari to Luca di Montezemolo.

Now that’s a wedding gift.

Man I want a 458 Speciale that looks like that.

They kind of did that. But sadly the “production” version isn’t as cool and grew a windshield

“How do we make the 360 more special?”
“I know! Chop the windshield off and give it a fancy Italian name! And charge twice as much!”
“I like the way you think!”

Pretty cool. I wish they would have done something similar with the 550 Barchetta....lose the awkward roll hoops and chop the windshield. (Apparently the hoops are easily removed w/four bolts)

It was later upgraded with a different, slightly larger windshield. Which is how it sat when I saw it at the factory. The tour guide told us the top of the windshield was designed to replicate the shape of a heart.
*shudder*

I love the idea of a Barchetta, but screw this. Having to wear a helmet while driving isn’t cool at all.
And either’s that windshield posted by t_s.
The 550 Barchetta did it better.
