It looks kinda like they welded a modified front end from a 3rd gen STI to a modified rear end of a FoRS. 

I like this car. The back is pretty nuts looking, but it definitely is a huge improvement over the regular new Civic Hatchback.

I like it, but I think the front bumper looks a little too Fast and Furious...how much of that ‘mesh’ actually has airflow going through it...?

Isn’t that great, though? It’s not exactly my cup of tea, but the current design trend, with the exception of a few brands, is definitely to favor clean, crisp lines. I mean, we live in a time when people have compared the new STi to the Corolla, in terms of its looks. Honda, of all companies, is daring to be different, and I dig that.
