Back in 2010, found this in downtown Yountville, CA. Have to love the political sign in the back window. Simplicity is a beautiful thing.

I still hate the fact that they didn’t just fix it up and keep it stock. :/

I don’t get why he wanted carburetors and a mechanical fuel pump, I thought the whole point was to make it more driveable and reliable.
And if I’m going to an asshole I might as well add that it’s a shame that such a relativley rare old classic isn’t kept stock.
Still, it looks like a very well executed project.
