Sergio’s probably still planning for that GM merger and for Ferrari to win the 2016 F1 championship.

I can’t do it anymore! I cant deal with this. What is Dodge building? How about Chrysler? How about Jeep? What about Maserati? Want the answer? The exact same cars over the next five years!!!

If it get’s me a guilietta in the states I am okay with this.

Yeah but the 500X is good, except for all the black plastic which has already been scratched up.

So I’m seeing three S/CUVs. The one slated for 2016 I’m assuming is the Stelvio, which looks absolutely hideous from what little we’ve seen of it, kind of like a low-rent Maserati Levante. Does anyone know what “specialty” means?
![]() 09/15/2016 at 10:58 |

yep, Ram and Jeep are bankrolling the whole fiasco, and he’ll ride them into the ground to try to resurrect a brand nobody cares about.

will you actually buy one if it does show up?

Who you calling nobody?

No, I just wanted to see if I could fit 90% of my vocabulary into one post. Success!
I am upset because I’m not seeing ANY long term planning coming from FCA. Everything is reactionary and I’m getting seriously worried Sergio is setting everything up so that he can take the money and run! He holds like 5 CEO titles and like 40 positions across the company plus way too much control and stock. He’s preparing to liquidate!

You did succeed!

It means they haven’t even decided on if they are replacing the 4C, building a 6c or 8c, a Giulia Coupe, a hybrid sportscar...they don’t know! It’s simply filler and to cover up the fact that they don’t have a plan!

ok, fine, a statistically insignificant number of people.

Shit that’s a lot of shit right there.

I hate that Alfa is building SUVs and Crossovers but at the same time I understand that they need more financial stability. If it means they can make more cars like the 4C and Giulia then it's acceptable. I'm even hoping that maybe they'll be...okay. Or as good as a CUV can be by virtue of being an Alfa Romeo. All I really want is a new GTV...

“ statistically insignificant number of people”
Pretty much sums up my life..

What is the hatchback and does it come in manual and 3 door??
![]() 09/15/2016 at 14:38 |

Not meant to be a put-down, it’s just that enthusiasts who are interested in Alfa are a small portion of the market. “Nobody cares” is a moderate bit of hyperbole.

not taken as one. It’s true what your saying I just like the phrasing a lot. it really does pretty much sum up all my life activities, interests, opinions, ect. I am always part of the statistically insignificant number of people for everything. haha

i need a Giulia Quadrifoglio. after that I don’t care what alfa does.

Did someone say Stelvio ?
You're welcome.

Now where have I seen this before…?
In the end I hope something works out though, Alfa Romeo is one of my favourite brands out there after all.

And, at the moment, Fiat Chrysler can afford everything up to year end 2016. Everything after that is pretty much wishful thinking. I believe Marchionne is hoping to be retired someplace before people start figuring that out. That vague “2017 to 2020" bit leaves some wiggle room, but by 2021, Elkann is bound to be asking some questions.

Sergio is a disease. He is to FCA as Elop was to Nokia. The board should kill him now while they still can.

Is this like that time Danny Bahr at Lotus announced a million new models, but never had any intention of building them and tried to drive Lotus into the ground?
