Spotted near the Hot Pink Patriot, a Subaru SVX in pretty good condition considering that it’s kept on the street, in the same color combo mine was!

Those wheels look funky.

If the Hot Pink Patriot is not a gay bar, I’m going to be severely disappointed.

You had a SVX?

Yep. A 92 LSL, no spoiler.

“The Hot Pink Patriot in Queens”

Other than the roof paint, it looks to be in good shape. Pearl White is a great color on the SVX.
I happened to see this Brilliant Red (I think, though possibly Barcelona Red) SVX again today. To say that I want one is an understatement. Not sure I’d go for red though.
You mentioned in another comment that you had a ‘92 LS-L without the spoiler. Was it that way from the factory? Just curious.

yep. the spoiler was optional in 1992.
initially I wanted an SVX with it, but my parents got me to realize that if I had a spoiler I would be inviting the police to pull me over.

Ah yes, I forgot that the spoiler was optional in ‘92. Most LS-Ls from that year seem to have the spoiler.
I believe it was standard on the upper trim levels in the later model years.

Where in Queens? Looks like somewhere in the Rego Park-Forest Hills area by the buildings. Maybe as far west as Woodside...?

I do remember, from my childhood, seeing a man on the subway wearing a pink polo suddenly vomit pink liquid.

Love that color combo, much more than the red on red one posted on here a few days ago. It really grinds my gears when someone buys a two-tone car in single-tone. I feel like the designers go to a lot of work to differentiate in a way that looks good, so getting an R8 with same-color side blade is just skipping it.
