Haven’t been able to find my favorite apples in the States. It’s a Baltic variety called “ White Transparent ”. Supposedly it’s been imported, but I haven’t seen it.

There’s an apple developed here in Canada, Sunrise, that’s very nice. Delicious, sweet, crispy, and they seem to bake well (so far, I’ve only tried a muffin recipe).
