I honestly think Ducati has always had the best designs of any two wheel manufacturer, if not every model, then certainly overall.

they have always made gorgeous bikes.
now, after you factor in purchase prices, maintenance costs, the fact that they are pretty uncomfy in anything not resembling a race track environment, and ‘quirks’ they become significantly less attractive.

And it'll still get passed around the outside by a wr250 with slicks on it.

MV Agusta is better
I said it.
Ducati is Ferrari, while MV is Lamborghini

BULLSHIT. Their website is still up and they were bought by Mercedes?
![]() 09/03/2016 at 15:58 |

No they have not, there have been rumors that they have stopped production, but no factual reports and the company exists and funcions normally as a business.

Agustas are better looking, but Ducatis actually work, somewhat reliably if you maintain them properly. Agustas can break down tomorrow or maybe the day after or next month, but I can promise you you will not go more than 3-6 months without something going at least somewhat wrong.
The Rivale and Dragster are godly though.

Ludditic people
Enthusiasts call it “Italian Charm”

No, Ducati has italian charm, Agustas are just plain awful to own, if you look at them used, it’s the reason they are so cheap.

Rear wheel is all sorts of funky.

from what I hear, they are either already dead, or not long for the world.
merc only bought a 25% stake in them to test the waters, its not going well.

You gotta remember they’re pretty much new, but still I mean a Dragster RR maybe, don’t know the prices in the US, but unless it’s a Lewis Hamilton Dragster you can expect around 4k USD off new price already.
