I hate that new fangled cable routing with continuous cable housing and no stops. It just isn’t elegant. Reminds me I need to replace the brake cable housing on my road bike.

I probably don’t need Hydraulic but discs are awesome especially on wet trails

The brakes on mine Are so bad I won’t even bother going on a wet trail.

We replaced the drums and associated components. A YouTube video and a couple beers and your be fine.
