A few weeks ago I was taking trash to the dump and halfway listening to the Watkins Glen NASCAR race on the radio.
Denny Hamlin won
During the pre-restart analysis, one of the announcers used these exact words:
“This is a road course, and he’s gonna be operating his transmission a lot more than a superspeedway.”
It seems that is just a really bad way of saying “Shifting Gears.”

I don’t think people realize that a Joe Gibbs Camry can be had with a manual transmission.

What about Danica’s favorite stick to operate?
Stenhouse’s transmission will be getting a double workout.
That is sexist, Danica doesn’t have a stick to operate.
Something something Danica/Stenhouse penis joke.
Come back to me, I can do better.
