This 308 had not been driven in a while.
Guy goes to start it... and it does what Ferrari’s do best. Self immolation. Driving your car can save it from fire and car enthusiasts ire.

So, uhhh..... He looking to get rid of it?

I think the 308 might be the best looking car Ferrari ever made. It’s just perfect. Not outrageous, but tastefully attractive but still aggressive.
Too bad that one explodeded

Looks to be a QV as well

The biggest reason why the Syclone is a conflict for me.
I want one. Badly.
I also know that I wouldn’t want to drive it hard or often, and if it got a scratch I’d probably spontaneously combust, so what’s the point?

It was hidden behind a clown shoe and 911 SC Targa but when I saw it my eyes got a bit bigger

There isn’t any car ever made that can’t be returned back to showroom condition. All it takes is money.

Could be. Between the fire, the minute I had to look at it, and my lack of knowledge on old Ferraris i couldn't tell you.

A rare color ...

I’d have the money to buy in but not restore.
I could probably find one cheap that was already a beater and just fix it up mechanically. That I could do. But while I know that SOMEONE will have used theirs hard, how many out of the 1300 built would be?
I could settle for second best and go for a Typhoon, but while I love it it really isn’t for me.

My boat tried to do this when some creature had built a nest inside the void of the prop. I concur. Frequent use keeps the rodents at bay

Or embrace one in poor exterior image and rally cross it - that would be fun

They said it originated from the exhaust. I wouldn’t be surpised if this was the case. The most surprising thing is I spotted it in Knoxville.

Yeah. Basically, I would want one wouldn’t be afraid to take hammering down gravel/dirt roads.

I meant to say exterior condition, no idea how “image” popped in there.
Anyhow, one of those would be a blast in a rally setting

BARF! Looks like Ferrari tried to make a 300ZX while the designers were drunk

Well, that front kink on the 308 makes the car look like it’s about to snap in two at any moment, and the lines on the tail don’t resolve. =/
Can’t say I’m a fan of that look.

Different strokes for different folks. To my eyes the 456 looks like a blob of random design cues. That rear end just looks anonymous, it could be on any car.
And no fender flares is no good.
