I went 390 > 980Ti > 1080 Hybrid

and on my living room PC

390 > 960 mini itx > r9 nano

Or just go for a 1060 or 1070. I upgraded two years ago from a 260 to a 760, and hot damn was it worth it.

The 1060 isn’t much of an upgrade, and the 1070 is over $500 here.

Fair enough. Our dollar has really tanked. Lowest price I can find is $550 at NCIX for a 1070.

Yeah, I’m going to wait to see what AMD’s next generation of high end cards brings to the table. If there’s a card that’s $400 CAD that’s significantly better than my 290, I’ll for sure upgrade.

The temps of the Hybrid card are supposed to insane. Like less than 60C even under load, right?
