Front bench seat in a Bronco II. Google image searching shows me nothing like this in another Bronco or Ranger.
Taken from a similar era Ford car would be my best guess.
It makes me a little more okay with the facelift interior. I should just buy it, but I need to offload the Volvo first.

Pretty sure that’s stock. I had an 87 ranger custom, 2.9, 5 spd, 4x4, when i was in high school. good little truck except no AC and vinyl interior. There was a guy where i worked that had a post facelift ranger, maybe a 90, black STX extended cab 4x4. I thought his truck was the coolest thing I’d ever seen. he had a red interior in it and i’m reasonably sure that, other than being red, his seat looked just like that one.

Weird. I’ve been googling Bronco II and Ranger bench seat, all I’ve gotten is bucket seats and benches in full size Broncos.

It looks like many babies were born on that seat.

I would have thought buckets in a a first gen ranger would be the exception, not the rule. I would expect them in a Bronco II, although the one here looks to be a lower model with the roll up windows. My ranger had a one piece vinyl bench.

They for sure had benches in Rangers. My best friend had one in high school, a ‘90 with a blue bench just like that. If they put them in Rangers, they were most certainly in Bronco IIs.

If even one child had been born on that seat, it would look a hell of a lot worse.

I’m guessing somebody had a fairly dramatic coffee oopsie and the seats weren’t scotchguarded...
