I saw a unicorn this evening

A first gen

Not the hardtop convertibles of later models that are everywhere. A real coupe. I’ve always wanted one bit back when I was looking for one 5-7 years ago, I just couldn’t find one.

I wish I could find the original concept drawing but my Googling skills aren’t sharp tonight.

I had a manual HPT one until about two years ago. You can still find them, but rarely in good condition. Mine found a good home, and last I heard is still in excellent condition; might be one of the last well cared for examples in North America.
