Yeah, that’s a fifty year old longroof with only 58K miles going for $15K. But hey, red block means 3 million mile s, right? And it’s very fun if you load it to the brim with scuba gear, surf boards, hiking stuff, a dog, some friends, etc.

Pretty close. The depreciation bug bit these things hard.

2013 Subaru BRZ Limited - $15,995
It’s a lot easier to find a sub-$16K FR-S, but you can find a clean BRZ for $15K and change if you look for it.

2013-2015 FIAT 500 Abarth hatchback or convertible. You’ll get one which is almost brand new in that price range. You will always have a smile on your face. 2012 models are the only one with any known issues. Aftermarket is decent, but even bone stock, the car is a blast.

I think E46 M3s and E39 M5s can be had around that $ now.

Oh, this is already on my radar! Tell me all about your 2014! Have you had any issues with it? Was it just 2012 with the issues (first model year obviously)? How is the seat comfort on longer drives?

I love the clown shoe, such a cool car! 2 door hatchbacks are the best!

I have the GQ, my seats are different than regular Abarth. I drive it from SLC to Denver - 8 hours, 600 miles give or take, no issues with seats.
Bought mine in October with 6k miles, I have 10k now, zero issues. On forums, most people have no issues. Occasionally, some people have coolant issues and some clutch issues, but those are usually 2012's.
One thing is for sure - you can find a 2013 with low, low miles for $12k and I guarantee that no car that cheap/new/low miles will give you a bigger smile on your face.
