I mean, car carriers are cool, and the GM Futurliners are cool, but I’m not sure the two ideas should be combined like this.
I definitely prefer them as they were built, but the owner of this gets to do what they want, so I guess this is what they wanted.
I’ll stick to looking at the others

Reminds me of a Tercel for some reason

Is it the massive size, all the chrome, or the 1940s styling?

Maybe the size

According to
Wikipedia
, this one donated some parts to other Futurliners so that they could complete their restorations. That makes me feel a lot better, because these are just too cool and rare to chop up for custom projects. I’m glad that they were able to do something with what was left.

Oh so it's more like it acted as a parts truck, and then they made this with what was left. That makes me feel better about it too

It’s the staircase leading up to the driver's seat

Yeah. Maybe they could have restored this one, but using it to help out TWO restorations was definitely the better choice.

That must be it

Ok, that’s some relief.

I quite like it.

Now that I know it gave parts to restore two others, I like it a lot more

I dig it. Reminds me of steam wagons.
