I’ve been looking at getting a Mercedes Benz daily driver for a few months now and was really close to just doing what Tavarish did and getting either an S500 or S600, then I ran into this bad boy

13900 is about 4-5 grand more than I’m willing to pay but I’m finding some nice examples in that price range along the west coast.

I think this might be the make and model of my next daily driver friends. But what do you think? Did the CLS age gracefully or nah? Does it look like a sweet budget fast back on par with a Panamera? Let me know and let drool over some of these pictures

This is by far my favorite Mercedes Benz of the 2000s and imo it looks much better than the current CLS.

They haven’t depreciated. The costs are just deferred.

Jumping into this with a budget originally alloted for an 8K car is a very bad idea.

My favorite Benz design in a long time though.

Lots of style for the money, but I get a bad feeling from the ad. I would want a thorough PPI from your favorite shop.

You can also get a lot of style for the money from a W108 or C126 etc, but as older cars they might get upset at DD duty.

I like these better than the newer ones, and the engines are quite good. But lots of things can and do occasionally go wrong on them. But this is sort of new enough to miss a lot of problems too.
