“Sure we can fit you in” - dude on the phone
“Sorry sir can’t fit your tires on today, I have no idea who told you that” - Literally that same dude 15 minutes later when I get there.
Why is getting tires mounted so difficult?

You don’t want Walmart tires anyway.

Well your first mistake was Walmart. Followed by Jiffy Lube. I would suggest a trusty independent mechanic or a discount tire maybe?

There are a ton of random little tire shops in Austin. Spanish be damned, they’ll install and balance them in 15 min!

But they were the only ones that had the tire I needed in stock.

Walmart is king when it comes to groceries, but I don’t know how their tire departments are. My sister got Michelins from Sam’s Club and that was pretty good.
