Well, they got it to the festival and out the gate again. I guess there’s no proof it got home! I was tempted to leave a business card for dibs on the engine since the vehicle doesn’t look like it’s long for this world.

It might be running now but it doesn’t look like it will be for long. I don’t think I’ve ever seen heavy rust that high on the side of a car before.

Meh, the later Tercels don’t do anything for me. They replaced the quirkiness with beige-ness.

It’s been a remarkably long time (as in at least twenty years) since I’ve seen a Tercel in any state of repair. I guess that picture shows why.

There are a few out here that aren’t too bad. I’ve never seen one that rusty that wasn't scrapped though.
