I want those wheels. They come in 6 lug so even more tempting.

For a Hilux?

Hilux Surf. But yes.
This is a pre-facelift Limited and mine is a post-facelift SR5 but.....Should still look rad.

Yep. That looks badass. You should definitely do this :)

Except no one makes lowering springs so I would have to get custom. And I’d want to swap axles or at least do discs in the back so you didn’t see drum behind the wheels.

Hmmm, I’ve recently got a set of custom springs for my Jag XJ40 and they weren’t as expensive as I’d thought. ~£300 all-in.

I would call around to fab shops but I actually don’t know of any local.

Hmmm, I googled ‘custom coil springs’ and a firm up in the midlands came up. Asked about them on a couple of forums to gauge whether they were crooks or not and ordered through them.
Might be something similar in the States. It’s a relatively specific thing being able to make coil springs, so I doubt your average fab shop would have the kit...

I knew the average shop couldn’t do it but it’s probably one of the better places to start.

Yeah very true. If they couldn’t do it I bet they’d know someone who can :)
