My collection: Bulova; Tag Heuer; Rolex, Breitling (usually seen with leather band; this one with rarer steel)
Sorry for the cut off photo. Here’s a closer pic in the Breitling
I’m a sucker for watches. I forgot the one I wear to work in the yard.
I wear them all frequently and can’t bring myself to baby them. All have depreciated due to wear and scratches but I don’t care.
I appreciate the irrational Joy of mechanical things. Wear your watches, and drove your cars. You won’t care about resale value when you’re dead. Enjoy this world while you can, friends.

These are mine, a love for mechanical things and watches is something I inherited from my father and his father.

I only have one better quality watch, a Heuer 844 Monnin. Just sent it out for reconditioning. I got it in 1979. Estimate is $200-500 to get it running again, relume and recondition. It already had a new crystal done 15 yrs ago. Hoping they can fit a later Rolex bezel insert on it. The Monnin company was a case source for Rolex after Heuer and there are some pieces that are adaptable.
My next ones in quality are my old dress Seiko from 1982 and my Invicta 8926 pro diver with the Seiko NH25A movement. My yard and work watch is a Breed Genaro with Seiko movement. Otherwise I have about 6 Timex Ironmans of various generations from cycling for years.

Tag probably has the worst movement of the above. That being said, still love them.
