Yeah, I HATED the new version with him, how he said Matt Leplonk and all that.. BUT, here’s the thing.. What do they do now? Hire Matt LeBlanc as the new main host? I mean.. a ‘murican as the main host? That won’t do.. Sabine Schmitz is hot and a great driver, but she’s a tad nervous in front of the camera.. Chris Harris I hear you cry.. well sure.. he’s a cool bloke, but is he the presenter Top Gear needs? Rory though? I’d love him as a main figure, he’s quirky, over the top and slightly insane.

I just binge watched the whole series over the weekend, and I have to say... It was a lot less sucky than I would’ve imagined.

Yes, the carbon copy of semi old top gear was lazy, but it wasn’t terrible.

Yes, that guy is horrible. Just really annoying. I can’t be as eloquent or novel in my critique, so I’ll just leave it at that. And I’m rejoicing that he will not continue.

But, overall, the series turned out pretty well in my opinion. That most watched live, or as available, I think left many waiting/wanting for more. But as a complete 7 hours, there was a lot of good car programming.

So... Who to replace Evans? Not sure. But remember, they shouldnt be trying to replace clarkson. Because clarkson only worked with Hammond and may. They need to consider Leblanc, Rory, and Harris, and find someone to complement those guys. Kind of how may replaced that chubby fellow after the first season of semi old top gear.

I will bet money on it that Rory will take over. Chris and Sabine are both busy racing cars. Eddie is busy being a billionaire and doing billionaire things and Matt is busy being an actor for both the BBC and CBS. Rory on the other hand seems to have all the time in the world since he’s being doing interviews everywhere lately.

It should be Rory, Evans, and Leblanc. Should have been since day 1. I don’t think Leblanc is really a good TV presenter, but at least he isn’t annoying, just kind of dull

I agree with you about Sabine’s attractiveness status, but not the main presenter thing. They have enough people for them to rely on each other as main acts.

Harris has been most excellent on evo, I am not sure he fits with the whole top gear goofball thing but I've wanted a tv show with him regardless. I think they should change the tone back towards cars to fit the new cast, even though they will lose some UK audience.
