$1600?!?? Modular V8? Comfy as shit? Huge? Easy to find parts? I’m trying to be rid of the CRV anyway?
Fuuuuck yes. Slap a supercharger on this thing and I’m fucking THERE.
Real talk though when we can the CRV in probably going to try and find a full-size car at some point. Is a Panther a “bad” idea?

Centrifugal supercharger + electric exhaust cutouts = stealth awesomeness.

That's what I'm sayin! Unsure how much power that 4-speed would take though...

You won’t do it.

The 4R70W trans can take a decent amount of power (~450hp), though you’d wanna upgrade to the police aluminum driveshaft.

Just do the PI swap (heads and intake manifold from later Mustang) and you’ll be set.

Of course you can’t see the driver’s seat.

98' was shit year. First year of that body style, gutless NPI. Why anyone would buy 98-02 when 03+ is so much better is beyond me. There is zero advantage of buying those model years other than price.
Also, fyi 96-97 offers same drivetrain in classier body style that weights less.

There is a lot online about converting Panthers to 6spd stick with a T56 or T56 magnum.

Love those Panthers. Supreme comfort.
