Now I have a headache. I don’t mind that smell usually, but it doesn’t belong inside.

Nope, it’s an LS1 so it’s definitely FI. The generator my dad is trying to get to start is carb’d though. It’s in the garage but the smell has found its way into the house.

It’s the generator which doesn’t want to start. It’s in the garage (where the smell is truly awful) but the fumes have found their way into the house.

Gasoline smells good. Until you smell it on your hands still as you’re eating. And then realizing after that that everything you’ve touched, no matter how many time you’ve washed your hands, smells of gas.

Also, the smell of trans fluid is good until you associate it with trouble. And when the leaking fluid is baked onto the exhaust pipe and you smell burned fluid whenever you sit in traffic, even though the problem is fixed it leads to mild panic attacks.

Basically any fluid smells bad outside of where it should be.
