It started yesterday. I’m in Apex getting food, as people do. Turning a corner to get back to the car, I’m greeted with this. I instantly fall on love. But like Billy Mays, that’s not all.
This morning, I’m in Durham getting food, as people do. Turning a corner to get back in the car, I’m greeted with this. I instantly fall in love.
OK so a quick list of things that we’ve learned through this post:
1. I eat a lot of food.
2. W123 300CD’s are attracted to me.
3. I need more food.
4. I need a W123 300CD.
Well, most of y’all are already aware of my W123 obsession, and a clean coupe or wagon only perpetuates the aforementioned obsession and I am then led into a life of diesel addiction. It’s better than a heroin addiction, I guess.

That depends on if you use Mercedes original parts.

Hum that second parking lot looks to damn familiar... such wide stripes and yellow curb + compact designation... would swear it was a spot over in carboro. Sure I’m wrong but still surprised we haven’t crossed paths.

It’s at the Whole Foods adjacent to Duke, which does have a very Carrboro vibe. Nonetheless, I bet we’ll cross ways one day.

Very cool, I’m also considering a W126 chassis car as they are much cheaper than the W123 but just as good.

Only drove it a few times when my tempo was out for repair. It had no ac an the drivers window had failed so left a less than favorable memory. The diesel factor kinda stunk to the teenage me.. At the time he owned a sweet 92 mr2 so I was typically salty for getting the “boring” car.

Welcome back, it is still hot here. I’ve been here my whole life, much unlike all of my friends who are from other states/countries.
