This lawn mower likes to flood inexplicably and it’s only 2 years old.
At least there are a couple interesting cars to look at while I wait.
Like this once green Nova.
And this like new, low miles 1997 infinity I30.
Who am I kidding? This sucks.

The carbs on the newer Briggs and Stratton’s are junk. You cannot get the individual parts for the carb either, you have to buy the whole thing. They are made of plastic and if you leave fuel with ethanol in it over the winter it will destroy the carb. I would replace the carb and find a gas station that still sell ethanol free gas for your lawn equipment. I am not against ethanol, it works great in cars. I don’t like using it for my small engines.

Yeah, it only flooded because I did a dumb.

It was intimidated by the close proximity of the Thunderbird. Move it away from the ‘bird and try again.

That’s explicable.

Well, I think there is more issues. Spark plug is a mess and nothing I try is taking car of the issues. It’s flooded inexplicably before.

I borrowed my dad’s lawnmower. Same brand and model but two years older.

Update: borrowed a lawnmower and the Thunderbird is a ranger now.

Problem solved for now!
I think you should do the responsible thing and seek help for your mower. It seems to have an irrational fear of birds.

Old trick is to remove the sparkplug and pull the starter a few times. It won’t be flooded anymore. Put plug back and start ‘er up.

I tried to do that but my grandma, who owns the mower, read in the owner’s manual where it says “do not attempt to start the mower with the spark plug removed.

But you’re not attempting a start, you’re deflooding it.
