They probably did if they were wearing their seatbelts. As spectacular as this type of accident is, it’s totally the car-totalled type of accident I’d prefer at that speed. The car had quite a while to slow down rolling like that.

WTF? Bro, I even lift and pulling the handbrake hard enough to lock the rear wheels that quickly at speed would take some serious effort. This is a rare case where having an electronic brake might be a good thing (they apply with force based on the situation, so in theory no lockup). Car looked loaded with people...any news? I need to go check Vortex for threads like "Smoked a couple sportbikes, but tire was 2psi too high!"

It doesn’t, I did it on a bet. If you grab the handle and yank you can lock up and drag the tires.

Wow — I guess my old Passat just had a tough handbrake. I also think handbrakes shouldn't be auto-locking, but that's the norm. It always seemed like you should be able to pull them up, THEN push the thumb button to lock them. Seems a lot safer to me.

Yeah, when I did it (in a Fusion) I held the button down and pulled. I distinctly remember not letting it lock just in case.
But like you mentioned, it depends on the car. I had a Trans Am that had a brutal handbrake because the cables were funky. I snapped cables trying to apply it when parking more than once.

Fue en la de Cuerna, la neta no si estoy mal, pero ojala se hubiera matado el muy pendejo, para que no le vuelva a hacer daño a nadie mas, hasta donde se todos salieron bien del accidente pero entre que pudieron haber matado al de la moto y que traia pasajeros (jóvenes por lo visto) esto pudo haber salido super mal.
Y obvio no le va a pasar nada porque #México
