Some people are celebrating 4/7?
Have a 407.
You know you want to, at least a little.

More of a Laguna man myself.

Let’s have something better looking instead. A Moskvich 407.

If you want it, you have it.
Me, not so much.

I see one of those occasionally, but the 407 coupé seems to have faded away.

It does look like a bit of a caricature in this picture though. But the 407 looks like a caricature all the time, so yes, the Laguna is way better looking.

I had a nose around one while my accompanying my grandad to view a Mazda 6 (hes upgrading from his mk3 laguna hatch shortly and giving it to my mam). Very nice car and different enough to feel more special than the standard mk3 laguna. The mazda 6 was nice too.

I get off on odd/quirky looking cars though, hence my car history of fiat panda, twingo and e36 compact. Plus briefly a 2010 mondeo which was oddly normal for me.

Also available in 3.0 V6 SW form.
I do prefer the 406 though.

I just meant this picture, since the grill seems to be 3 meters wide. In other pictures it is one of the most visually pleasing Renaults of that period, which I would gladly drive.
Can we call the Twingo odd or quirky looking? The only reactions I get is that it looks sporty, except for one girl who said it looked cute!

Or 406.

406 coupe also gets the coveted twingo tamer stamp of approval. Was on the list of stuff i wanted before i got the e36. Rwd and cheapness won over good looks and frenchness.

Ive had many call it odd. Although that might partly be what ive done to it. One middle aged lady at work hates my white wheels and wants me to put hub caps on.

I wonder how good (or bad) the V6 diesel was in those.

PSA diesels tend to be good, this however is a Ford engine if I’m not mistaken. It’s shared with Jaguar and Land Rover. Given that connection I’m wary. This, however, isn’t based on anything other than predjudice.

That’s just plain stupid, I think it’s quite fitting on yours since it is the basic version.
Maybe my stripes make it look less odd and more sporty.

PSA and Ford had a joint venture to make four and six cylinder diesels - the fours were PSA (but made by both) and the V6s Ford. In the event PSA didn’t sell that many.
