Driving down to visit friends for a week in Nashville!
Gonna try to visit the Lane Museum while there and the Corvette museum on the drive home. What else shouldn’t I miss in Nashville? Restaurant recommendations? Any Cars & Mint Juleps (I imagine) I should attend?
I just might even take the very long way home and do the Tail of the Dragon. But probably not this trip.

The Grand Ole Opry. I don’t like country music, but I loved it. There is so much music history there it blew my mind. DO the back stage tour.

Cars and Coffee in Franklin is one of the largest events around. Never know what you’ll see. Get some Hot Chicken from 400 Degrees, go to The Pharmacy, come see my dads ‘75 FJ40, enjoy the city. Overall, welcome to my neck of the woods!

You must go to the Lane, and if it’s available, take the basement tour. It’s worth the extra cash. The Frist art museum also has vintage coachbuilt Italian and Italian styled cars on display, including a Turbine Car and a Miura.

Lane Museum is a must. Other than that, broadway is just a ton of fun.

Frist Art Museum! Right now the main exhibit is on the Italian automotive Renaissance! I think the years span from around WWII to mid-70's. I haven’t had the chance to see it yet but I’m really excited to! Also tomorrow night is the Art Crawl, which happens on the first Saturday of every month. Free viewings at all the art galleries on 5th Ave between Church and Union, starts at 6:30pm I think.
