Sometimes I wonder if these ideas are the result of a tree falling on the vehicle...
It’s not totaled! Nah, we’ll just cut off this bit here and everyone will think it was intentional! We’ll keep it in the garage for now, and maybe figure out some kind of soft-top later.

Now this just planted the idea of keeping my 99 escalade around as a beach cruiser in a similar fashion once it gets replaced with a newer truck (although at the 3-5k per year rate that I put miles on the truck, it will probably be awhile before I decide to replace it).
