The Nissan IDx should have been the new Mitsubishi Lancer. But can’t it still be? Nissan just bought a controlling stake in Mitsubishi. Small, compact, light, could easily do a 4 door version, and the chassis to do an Evo-XI with. Mitsubishi Lancer IDx anyone?

Sure, it looks like it still says Nissan in Fast 8 - but they can fix that in post!

I don't see it. The current Lancer platform already makes for a fantastic Evo, no need to change it.

How dare you. The Lancer was FWD, Nissan are better than that. I’d liken an IDx to a new version of one of those RWD Corollas from the 80s.
